Invoicing: Creating & Sending Invoices
Create an invoice, review the totals, and send it by email or download it as a PDF for WhatsApp or other sharing.
Step 1: Open Invoices
Go to the Invoices page from your dashboard. There you will see your customers and all invoice actions in one place.
Step 2: Choose the Customer
If you want to send an invoice to an existing customer, click their name. If you want to invoice the same person as the last invoice, click "New Customer Invoice".
Step 3: Review Customer and Invoice Details
The new invoice page opens with prefilled data. Review these parts carefully: * BILL TO (ID Owner): update the customer details or add a new customer. * Invoice Details: check the invoice information before sending. * Dates (invoice and due): invoice date is set for the invoice day and due date defaults to 7 days. * Period: defaults to the last 15 days or last payout period. If you need a full month, change it. * Income Month: uses the current month or payment month by default.
Step 4: Add Notes and Invoice Breakdown
Use Invoice Notes to add any message or reminder for future reference. In Invoice breakdown, choose a % commission if you want to enter a percentage fee, or choose the euro option if you want a fixed deduction amount.
Step 5: Check the Totals
Always review Finally without VAT, VAT, and TOTAL before sending. For tips, remember there is no VAT with tips.
Step 6: Create and Send
Click "Create Invoice" when everything looks correct. After that, you can send the invoice by email, download it as a PDF, or share it through WhatsApp or any other channel.
